OPEN SHOW SCHEDULE

A friendly event to encourage everyone to get going for the start of the showing season.

HVRC Club Field, Bamford, Hope Valley S33 0EB  (just off the A6187 near the junction to Bamford, between Hathersage and Hope).

In hand and ridden classes held on a high quality arena surface.

Non-members must hold their own 3rd party insurance.

ENTRIES ON THE DAY PLEASE

IN HAND classes                 (START 09.30)

1. Mountain and Moorland – large and small breeds
2. Prettiest Mare/Handsome Gelding
3. Novice handler – Junior
4. Novice handler – Senior
5. Open In hand – Judged on best of type
6. Veteran Horse/Pony (15yrs and over)

IN HAND CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES 1 – 6

JUNIOR RIDDEN classes

7. Lead Rein –   Rider 9 years and under
8. First Ridden  – Rider 12 years and under. No group canter   Can be assisted
9. Junior Novice Ridden  – Not to have any ridden classes before today.. No group canter
10. Junior Mountain and Moorland (large and small breeds)
11. Open Junior Ridden
12. Junior Riding Club Pony/Horse –  includes a small fence 

JUNIOR RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP (winners of classes 7 – 12)

SENIOR RIDDEN Classes  (START NOT BEFORE MIDDAY)

13. Senior Novice Showing –  Have a go!! First season showing No group canter
14. Senior Ridden Mountain and Moorland – Large and Small breeds
15. Senior Open Riding Horse
16. Senior Riding Club Horse/Pony – includes a small fence
17. Senior Veteran Horse/Pony (15years and over)

SENIOR  RIDDEN  CHAMPIONSHIP  (winners of classes 13 – 17)

WORKING HUNTER classes                    (START  11.00 )

18. Starters – not exceeding 30cm. Lead rein welcome (entrants in this class can only enter class 19 as well)
19. Beginners – not exceeding 40 cm
20. Novice horse/pony – not exceeding 50cm  (combination             not to have won more than 3 w/h classes
21. Pairs – not exceeding 50cm (one horse follows the other over fences and in the show)
22. Mountain & Moorland – not exceeding 60 cm
23. Style and Performance – not exceeding 60 cm
24. Intermediate Horse and Pony  – not exceeding 80cm
25. Open Horse and Pony – not exceeding 80cm

WORKING HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP (CLASSES 18 – 25)

Members £6 per class or three for £15   Non-members £8 or two for £15

Membership:-  £27 senior, £20 junior,  £42 family.
