2021 Topspec Dressage to Music Qualifier

The Competition will be run in accordance with BRC 2021 Handbook Competition Rules.
Health and Safety + Covid-19 regulations and notices must be adhered to at all times.
Competitors must wear the correct standard hats, with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. All Hats must be tagged with a 2018 BRC/BE/PC Aqua colour tag.
Hats need to be brought to the Official Steward for checking / tagging before competitors will be allowed to compete only if they do not have an Aqua colour tag as per above.
Any item of jewellery or alternative medical treatment wristbands must be covered up by clothing or gloves, if they cannot be removed, at the riders own risk.
Hair must be neatly secured and must not hang lower than the shoulder line (when standing normally).
Only competitors may work in a horse/pony before a class/phase.
No horses to be left unattended tied up outside horseboxes/trailers – Rule G9.3 refers.
DOGS ARE PERMITTED BUT MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS. DOGS MUST NOT BE TIED TO A VEHICLE AND LEFT UNATTENDED.
Children aged 16 years and under must not be left unattended in vehicles.
Individuals under the age of 12 are not permitted in warm-up arenas on foot under any circumstances. Rule G20.2 refers.
Cars to be parked in allocated area only.
Please pick all litter, muck and hay from around your horsebox in the parking area and take home.
TEAM MANAGERS – The Qualifier will take place using the current Covid 19 Government guidelines on the date of the qualifier and as applied by BRC
Corvid-19 requirements to comply with Government / BRC Guidelines will be published closer to the qualifier.

2021 Qualifier Tests for Dressage to Music
Horses will only be permitted to compete in two individual championship classes (warm up classes not included). Competitors that qualify the same horse in three individual championship classes will be required to choose which classes they will contest at the Championship. This must be declared to the Official Steward at the Area Qualifier on the day.
* The Novice Dressage to Music will have two sections, one section for horses/ponies with no BD points, the second for horses/ponies with BD points. Please see the 2021 BRC Handbook (page 98) for clarification of eligibility.
N.B. The Dressage to Music classes will be held indoors in a 20m x 60m arena.
* All DTM competitors must hold as a minimum BD Club Membership in order to compete.

The last injection follows the 6 month 21 day rule as below:
All vaccinations must conform to current 2021 BRC Handbook Rules. Therefore the latest vaccination date must be on, or, after 12th January 2021.
