ROSIE INGHAM
Rosie’s ceremony starts at 10.00am on Weds 6th March at Macclesfield Crematorium https://maps.app.goo.gl/XbvDxMM6LuejgnZx9. We will meet Rosie at the crematorium rather than have a procession from home.
Dress code is super colourful ūüėć it’s open to anyone who wants to attend.
We then have the Old Hall booked from mid day for Rosie’s party which would run roughly as follows;
– 2 x Ceilidh sets 2pm-4.30pm followed by DJ until 6.30pm. Again, open invite.
The Old Hall is where we had Rosie’s mum’s wake in 2016, so it has a nice connection to her mum.

RIDING HAT STANDARDS

In order to ensure riders are wearing the most up to date riding hats, please note that from the 1st January 2023, the following hat standards will no longer be accepted, due to the age of hats made to these standards:

1.   PAS  O15 1998

2.   SNELL 2001

PAS 015 ‚Äď 2011 and SNELL ‚Äď E2016 are still both acceptable¬†

For safety and insurance reasons, HVRC members must wear a hat conforming to the new standards when riding at all HVRC clinics and competitions.

BODY PROTECTOR STANDARDS

From 1st January 2024, the BETA 2009 safety certification will no longer be permitted for use at British Eventing, British Riding Club and Pony Club competitions. This means that the BETA 2018 standard will be required when riding at any event run under these organisations.

So, if your equestrian body protector is marked with the BETA 2009 standard, it’s time to start thinking about getting a new one in time for the rule changes next year.
