The Hope Valley Riding Club Senior Camp 2021 is booked at Somerford Park Farm from 6pm Sunday 5th September to 4pm Friday 10th September.
The cost of camp is £295, with the first payment of £150 being a non-refundable deposit that is required immediately on booking. The balance can be paid as one or two further payments up to 30th June, which is the last date for paying the full amount. Lesson booking forms will then be sent out, and payment for these will be required two weeks before camp.

HVRC OPEN SHOWJUMPING Sun 27th June
The third HVRC jumping event of the season is the Open Showjumping on Sunday 29th June held on the club arena. There will be classes from 30cm to 90cm so there are classes for riders of all abilities to enter. Entries will be in advance only and the full schedule is on the Events page of the club website. Please follow social distancing guidelines on the day.
HVRC OPEN DRESSAGE Sat 5th June
The first HVRC dressage competition will be on Saturday 5th June. The tests for this season will be Intro A (2008), Intro B(2009), Prelim 7(2002), Prelim 18(2002), Novice 27(2007), Novice 34(2009) and Elementary 42(2008) so there are tests for all levels of ability. Entries will be in advance only and the full schedule will be on the Events page of the club website.

Now that restrictions have been eased we are delighted to be able to run a working hunter ring as well as an inhand and ridden ring. There will be a range of classes with something for everyone to enter so come and have a go! Entries are in advance only with class start times given before the show. JENNY PARKIN CLINICS Sun 20th June, Thursdays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th June
Jenny Parkin will be taking a clinic on the club arena on Sunday 20th June, starting at 11.00 and on Thursdays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th June starting at 10.00. Jenny can offer individual or group tuition for both adults and juniors covering flatwork, pole work or jumping. HVRC would like to offer our club members of all ages and abilities a chance to have group lessons at reasonable rates. Jenny Parkin is a BHS Stage 3 coach in Complete Horsemanship and is very experienced with all levels of rider. MICHELLE FOX SHOWJUMPING CLINICS Tues 22nd June and Tues 29th June
Michelle Fox’s June showjumping clinics are on Tuesday 22nd June and on Tuesday 29th June, both from 2pm till 7pm. Michelle has bred and produced her own horses up to advanced eventing level, including CCI***(3 day events). and grade B showjumping. She has recently qualified for the Aintree National Amateurs Championship on her horse Spot On Jacko and has qualified with him for all bar one of the last 5 years. A photo of her on Spot On Jacko can be seen in the photo gallery at the bottom of the front page of the club website. Good luck this year Michelle! RUPERT COX CLINICS Every Monday
Rupert runs individual/group clinics every Monday. Lessons can be either jumping or flatwork. To book your place, please contact Rupert direct on 07970 935615.
The HVRC arena is available to hire (to members only). Bookings are made by TEXTING Judith Rutnam on 07952 900085. Members need to allow at least 24 hours notice when booking an arena hire session. Your 2021 HVRC membership number will be required when booking. PLEASE lock the gate AND randomize the padlock code before leaving the field.
All memberships fall due at the beginning of January. Just a reminder that memberships need to be paid before riders can attend clinics, book places for camp or book the arena in 2021. Please complete and submit your membership form via the website. You will then be Emailed the internet banking details. Alternatively you can print off and complete your membership form and send it in with a cheque.
RIDING HAT STANDARDS
BRC introduced new hat standards in 2016 – visit this link for full details: http://www.bhs.org.uk/our-charity/press-centre/news/july-to-dec-2015/changes-to-riding-hat-standard-coming-in-2016-bsen1384-safety For safety and insurance reasons, HVRC members must wear a hat conforming to the new standards when riding at all HVRC clinics and competitions.

For HVRC & BRC events go to the EVENTS Tab, on the Events Calendar select the date of the event to download schedules, entry forms and class times. To change the month, in the top left hand corner of the calendar click on the down arrow to the right of the month year date and select the month required, then click on the event you want.
To download a membership form go to the MEMBERSHIP Tab,
click on the text:- go to the HVRC forms page and read the instructions for the download you require.

Terms and Conditions Area 16 Training 2021
All bookings should be made via email to Alex Batty at firstname.lastname@example.org. Places are not confirmed until payment has been received. Please send evidence of payment (screenshot) via email (email@example.com) to secure your place. When confirming your place, please also confirm your riding club and contact details (mobile number preferred).
Waiting Lists: If clinics/heights are fully booked, you will be added to a waiting list and contacted should a space become available.
Cancellations: Should you need to cancel your place, please notify Alex more than 48 hours prior to the date of your training. Any cancellations received less than 48 hours prior, will not be eligible for a refund. Apologies, we are unable to accept any exceptions to this rule.
Any refunds will be issued via postal cheque, less £1 to cover the cost of postage. Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer refunds via BACS transfer. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
