    DRESSAGE  COMPETITION   Teversal Saddlery, Clay
    Cross, Chesterfield.  Tests will be P15. P19. N22. N37. E57 - all long
    arenas.  Contact Judy Tomlinson on 01246  582334 to  book
     your test.
 

   Monday 12th May
 
   
    FIRST  WORK  PARTY   Club field 6.00pm
    Fingers crossed that it will be third time lucky!   Please come and
    support your club as many hands make light work.  If the weather or
    ground are doubtful, please  contact Kim Burke on 01433  659629.
 

   Thurs 15th May
 
   
    THURSDAY NIGHT SHOWJUMPING   
These weekly tuition
    sessions begin on 15th May (weather permitting!). 
The first lesson
    will be with Fenella Walker and then it will alternate between Fenella
    and Sarah Healy.  The first session will start at 5.30 pm and the
    second session will start at 6.30 pm.  Cost £7. The first session will
    be for the more novice horse/rider combinations and ponies – max
    height 2’6’’.  The second session will be for those wishing to jump c.
    2’6’’ – 3’3” (max).

    OPEN  SHOW
   Club field.  Please note that the schedule has been
    substantially altered this season to avoid clashes between classes. 
   There is still  a full  range of in hand, ridden showing, working hunter
    and showjumping classes.  The new schedule is at the bottom of this
    page - just click on the thumbnail to see it full-size.

   FLATWORK LESSONS   with Rupert Cox begin on the club field for
   members only.  There are two sessions - one at 6.30pm and one at
   7.30pm.  Maximum of six horses per lesson.  Series of six lessons.
   These lessons will now start on 19th May and run fortnightly. Cost is
   £45 for six lessons.  Send cheque made payable to Hope Valley
   Riding Club to:  Susan Dunk, The Sawmill, Outlane, Hathersage,

If for any reason you are not receiving your Email or paper newsletters containing details of club events, do contact Kath on 01433  651331 asap so we can sort out the problem.  If you receive Email newsletters, please let us know of any change of Email address. Please ensure that your computer's virus protection is not set up to delete attachments (such as your newsletter!) and make sure that you keep your computer's mailbox emptied regularly so that club Emails are not returned undelivered due to your mail box being full.

HORSE  PASSPORTS

Please note that is now a legal requirement to hold a horse passport for all equines. Remember you must carry your passport in the car/lorry when travelling equines. As a British Riding Clubs affiliated club, members can purchase passports at the reduced rate of £22 each from BRC.  Click on this link for further details:     www.bhs.org.uk
