BRITISH RIDING CLUBS NEWS

Flu Vaccination Rules  The BRC flu vaccination rules are extremely strict and members competing in BRC events must ensure they comply to avoid disappointment. The full 2008 rules are below.  Click on the thumbnails to see them full-size.

Equine passports Passports are now compulsory for every horse and must accompany the horse when it travels. Riding clubs can benefit from a discounted fee of £22 per horse instead of £27 for non-members. There are more details in the ‘Rider’ magazine, from BHS office or on the BHS website: www.bhs.org.uk

Freezemarking As members of British Riding Clubs, HVRC members will receive £5 discount per horse from Farmkey. Please contact Kath Stoney on 01433 651331 if you are interested in freezemarking so we can organise a group booking, thus obtaining an even larger discount. Freezemarking sessions can take place on the club field or other venue agreed by all the participants.

Other BRC discounts members now qualify for 5% discount at Rugwash (01926 657286) and 10% discount at BHS bookshop.
